The fifth annual Bourbon for Boobs fundraiser supporting breast cancer awareness and research is set to return in October.

The event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Foundry at Judson Mill. The Foundry is located at 701 Easley Bridge Road, Unit 6030.

Melissa Morrell, a local realtor, founded the event in honor of her mother, Sammie Sweeney-Ferrigan, who passed away from breast cancer in 2014. The 2023 Bourbon for Boobs event raised over $116,000 for the Bon Secours St. Francis’ Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health.
